Bonnie Young, Robin Colicchio, and Robert Meeks will be designing a Professsional Development Experience using CD-ROM technology from NASA or NOAA. We will have teachers complete a problem-based activity (which will be part of the CD kit). After a period of discussion about the activity, we will present the total CD package which will include a teacher's guide, video and audion presentations, and problem solving activities. The participants will be given the opportunity to complete other activities during the one-half day workshop. Each teacher will receive a CD, activities, posters, simple classroom equipment, and a list of web sites for teachers. |
