Project Description

Our project deals with the issue of water quality. The Problem Based Learning (PBL) scenario has students explore the issues surrounding water quality using information technology (specifically the Internet as an information source). In addition, mapping software is used to recognize spatial patterns of water quality factors. For professional development, we will model this PBL scenario with teachers to provide us with feedback and for them to bring back to their classrooms.
